El Libano ~ Pink Bourbon ~ Tolima, Colombia

Tasting Notes: Berry Sweetness, Subtle Florals, Mellow

Processing: Washed

Bourbon (pronounced BUR-bone) is a well-known variety of coffee, referring to a specific genetic lineage of the coffee plant. Most Bourbon cherries ripen to a vivid red, but when you cross yellow and red Bourbon plants, the result is Pink Bourbon—a unique and striking variety where the cherries mature to a lush pinkish-orange hue.

Pink Bourbon is highly sought after—not just for its exceptional cup quality and refined flavor profile, but also because the plant tends to produce high yields, shows resistance to coffee leaf rust, and generally requires minimal fertilization.

We're incredibly fortunate to have this rare coffee to be able to serve you! The Pink Bourbon trees are just now mature enough to produce a small harvest. It was only by combining their separated Pink Bourbon lots that all three producers were able to gather enough beans for just a few jute bags.

This coffee won't be around for long—grab it while you can.
